Why the Sikorsky S-76 Fits Orlando
A board group or a large corporate party moving together from a downtown Orlando hotel into KORL for a heavy jet departure travels as one in the S-76, rather than splitting across two smaller helicopters and two separate schedules. That is the argument for the rate premium, and on a departure with a hard slot it is a real one.
Twin-engine authority and the aircraft’s offshore heritage make it the default recommendation for any longer overwater routing, including legs toward the Bahamas or the Caribbean that start in Central Florida.
