Super midsize jets are among the aircraft Orlando Jet Charter arranges for trips to and from Orlando. The types we arrange seat 7 to 12 passengers, with published ranges from 2,700 to 3,600 nautical miles. Which one suits your trip depends on the passenger count, the baggage, the distance and the airports at both ends.
Typical Aircraft
The types we arrange in this category are Bombardier Challenger 300, Bombardier Challenger 350, Bombardier Challenger 3500, Cessna Citation Latitude, Cessna Citation Longitude, Cessna Citation Sovereign, Cessna Citation X, Dassault Falcon 50, Embraer Legacy 500, Gulfstream G200, Gulfstream G280, Hawker 1000 and Hawker 4000.
When a Super Midsize Jet Fits an Orlando Trip
Super midsize jets are usually the smallest aircraft that fly from Orlando to the West Coast in one leg. Most of the types we arrange reach Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Las Vegas, depending on the load, as well as anywhere on the East Coast, in the Caribbean or in Mexico.
Cabin size, baggage space and range vary across these 13 types, so send us the details and we will narrow the list down for you.
The runway a particular aircraft needs is calculated by the operator for that day’s conditions, and your advisor confirms it with the operator before anything is booked.
Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Orlando-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
Most private trips to Orlando use Orlando Executive, about three miles east of downtown, while Orlando International takes the airliner-size aircraft that larger groups need. Kissimmee Gateway is the closest jet airport to Walt Disney World and Celebration, and Orlando Sanford International serves the north side. Orlando Executive, Orlando International and Sanford have US Customs for private flights; Kissimmee does not. The airspace over Walt Disney World is restricted, so a Disney trip lands at an Orlando airport and finishes by car. From June to September, afternoon thunderstorms build most days, and hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th. The holidays, spring break in March and the big convention weeks book up first, so tell us your dates early.
