The Operators We Work With
Every flight we arrange is flown by an FAA-certified FAR Part 135 charter operator, or by a FAR Part 121 operator when the passenger count calls for an airliner-size or regional aircraft. Part 135 is the FAA’s set of rules for on-demand, for-hire charter. It carries stricter operating, crew, and insurance requirements than FAR Part 91, the rules for private, non-commercial flying that cannot legally be sold as charter. On international legs, operators are required to meet the equivalent standards of the country of operation.
When your total passenger count outgrows a heavy jet and the group consists of more than nineteen passengers, the aircraft required would fall into regional airliner, or airliner-size. These trips would no longer fall under the FAR Part 135 standards but possibly operate under FAR Part 121 or foreign equivalent standards. Part 121 and equivalent generally carry stricter crew and operating requirements than FAR Part 91 and FAR Part 135.
We also confirm that the operator carries a substantial insurance policy before we present the aircraft as an option.
What Our Due Diligence Covers
Before we present any aircraft for a trip to or from Orlando, our internal due diligence process covers four things.
We confirm the operator holds a current and valid certificate. We review the operator’s safety and incident history. We confirm the pilots assigned to your flight are experienced, qualified, and current on the specific aircraft type being chartered. And where the operator participates in third-party auditing, we reference those audit reports as part of the review.
Operational control of the flight rests with the certificated operator at all times. That is the correct place for it, and it is worth stating clearly. The pilot in command, meaning the captain with final authority for the flight, makes the operational decisions on the day. Our work is everything that happens before the aircraft is ever offered to you.

Weather and the Decision to Fly
Central Florida weather is a genuine operational factor rather than a footnote. Between June and September, afternoon convective thunderstorms build almost daily. They are short and highly localized, and they more often produce ground holds and short delays than cancellations.
Hurricane season officially runs from June 1 through November 30, with peak activity between mid-August and mid-October. Orlando sits inland, roughly fifty miles from either coast, which means the exposure here is wind and rain rather than storm surge. Coastal closures elsewhere in Florida can still push traffic inland and tighten availability.
Where weather affects a departure, we may recommend expediting departure, delaying, or using an alternate airport, subject to scheduling and aircraft availability. The final call belongs to the pilot in command and the operator. If any changes are required due to weather and passenger safety, you can expect your advisor to reach out as soon as we are aware.
