Gulfstream G200

The Gulfstream G200 brings a flat-floor ten-seat cabin and around 3,400 nautical miles of range to the Orlando super-midsize market, covering coast-to-coast routes and most Caribbean destinations nonstop from KORL or KMCO.

Gulfstream acquired the IAI Galaxy to become the G200, a twin-engine super-midsize jet with Pratt and Whitney Canada PW306A engines and ten seats in a flat-floor cabin. Range is around 3,400 nautical miles. [EXTERNAL_LINK] Full specifications for the Gulfstream G200 are published by Gulfstream Aerospace.

Why the Gulfstream G200 Fits Orlando

Ten flat-floor seats make the G200 one of the more passenger-efficient options in its class for Orlando convention groups. OCCC events regularly generate demand for aircraft that can move a full executive team, and the G200 seats one or two more than most competing super-midsize jets without stepping up to a heavy-cabin aircraft.

KORL handles the G200 on its 6,004-foot runway, and the airport’s FBO infrastructure suits the aircraft’s typical clientele. For day trips to meetings in New York, Chicago, or Dallas, the G200 provides a comfortable round-trip within standard crew duty limits.

KMCO is the better option for international departures, particularly for clients traveling to Central America or the larger Caribbean islands where customs clearance and longer runway length are both relevant. The G200’s range covers most of those destinations comfortably.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
