Why the Bell 407 Fits Orlando
Fleet depth is the 407’s practical advantage in Orlando. It is the helicopter most likely to be available at short notice across Central Florida, which matters during convention weeks at the Orange County Convention Center or NASCAR events at Daytona Beach when every aircraft in the region is already spoken for.
Kissimmee Gateway Airport at KISM is the closest public airport to Walt Disney World, and the 407 is a sensible size for a family or small group transfer from a hotel near the parks into a waiting jet. The 5,000-foot runway takes the common turboprops and light jets that follow.
