Orlando Jet Charter arranges private flights for public figures, touring artists and their teams flying into or out of Orlando, whether the trip is for a show, a promotional appearance or a few days at the parks with family.
Keeping the trip private
We only share passenger names and itineraries with the operator and the crew assigned to your flight. If the trip is confidential and requires extra discretion, tell your advisor when you first call, and we will handle it that way from the start. That covers how the booking is made, who is told about the trip, and how the arrangements are set up at each end.
Choosing where to land
Orlando gives you a choice of airports. Orlando International has private terminals on the airport, separate from the airline terminals. Orlando Sanford International is in Sanford, north of the city, and is handy for Lake Mary and Seminole County. Your advisor will go through which airport suits the trip, where you are staying and the time you want to land.
Touring parties, equipment and security
Managers, stylists and assistants all need a seat, and security staff fill seats as well, so include everyone in the traveling party when you give us the headcount. Touring schedules move quickly, with a show in Orlando one night and the next city the following day, and we plan each leg around the show times. Stage equipment and merchandise that will not fit in the cabin can travel on a separate cargo charter. We can help you arrange ground transportation through a third-party provider, and our bodyguard and armored transport page covers security on the ground.
Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Orlando-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
Most private trips to Orlando use Orlando Executive, about three miles east of downtown, while Orlando International takes the airliner-size aircraft that larger groups need. Kissimmee Gateway is the closest jet airport to Walt Disney World and Celebration, and Orlando Sanford International serves the north side. Orlando Executive, Orlando International and Sanford have US Customs for private flights; Kissimmee does not. The airspace over Walt Disney World is restricted, so a Disney trip lands at an Orlando airport and finishes by car. From June to September, afternoon thunderstorms build most days, and hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th. The holidays, spring break in March and the big convention weeks book up first, so tell us your dates early.
