Orlando Passenger Aircraft Charter

Private jets on the ramp ready for passenger charter flights to and from Orlando

Orlando Jet Charter arranges passenger charter to and from Orlando in every size of aircraft, from a turboprop for a trip across Florida to a long range jet to Europe. The right category for your trip comes down to four things: how far you are going, how many people are traveling, how much baggage is coming, and which airport suits the trip at each end.

Aircraft Categories

Each category page lists the aircraft we arrange in it, with cabin, range and seating for each type.

Choosing a Category for Your Trip

Distance decides a lot on an Orlando trip. From Orlando Executive, Nassau is about 300 nautical miles away, Atlanta about 350, the New York area about 820, Dallas about 840 and the West Coast close to 2,000, so a light jet covers the East Coast and the Bahamas, while a nonstop to California calls for a super midsize jet or larger and Europe calls for a long range jet. Families heading to the parks and groups flying in for a convention often bring a lot of luggage, strollers and golf bags included, so tell us the passenger count and the baggage at the start.

Part 135 is the FAA’s set of rules for on-demand, for-hire charter. When your total passenger count outgrows a heavy jet and the group consists of more than nineteen passengers, the aircraft required would fall into regional airliner, or airliner-size. These trips would no longer fall under the FAR Part 135 standards but possibly operate under FAR Part 121 or foreign equivalent standards. Part 121 and equivalent generally carry stricter crew and operating requirements than FAR Part 91 and FAR Part 135.

Most private trips use Orlando Executive, about three miles east of downtown, and the airliner-size aircraft that larger groups need use Orlando International. The runway a particular aircraft needs is calculated by the operator for that day’s conditions, and your advisor confirms it with the operator before anything is booked.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
