Why the Beechcraft King Air 260 Fits Orlando
Performance is identical to a King Air 250: what the 260 adds is flight-deck automation. Autothrottle and digital pressurization reduce crew workload on busy Florida departures and arrival sequences, which is a safety and consistency argument rather than a passenger-facing one. For an Orlando client the cabin is the same; the aircraft is simply newer.
Because it entered production in 2021 the charter fleet is small, and a 250 or 200 will usually be what is actually available at short notice from Central Florida. Both do the same trip, and for the Bahamas, Caribbean, and East Coast routes that define Orlando charter travel, the 250 is the more accessible option when a 260 is not on the ramp.
